After years of contemplation and overcoming various life challenges, I’m finally taking the plunge into my passion for game blogging. No matter what obstacles come my way, my love for games has remained steadfast, and I’m here to share that excitement with you.

My gaming journey began in my early years, thanks to a family computer game console that my parents managed to buy for us when I was in grade school. My brother and I would immerse ourselves in games like Little Mermaid—I still remember the thrill of watching him defeat Ursula! Those moments spent with classics like Super Mario, Donkey Kong, and Pac-Man were more than just playtime; they were formative experiences that sparked a lifelong love for gaming.

However, our joy was tempered by our financial situation. When our family computer eventually broke down, we were left without a console for years. With limited means, it took a long time for my parents to save enough to buy us a new one. When they finally brought home a Game Boy Advance, it felt like a small miracle. The happiness of holding that device was indescribable, especially considering the sacrifices my parents made to get it for us.

Gaming on the Game Boy wasn’t without its challenges, though. Battery life was a constant concern, and while we managed to buy a charger, not all batteries were rechargeable. Eventually, my parents were able to buy a rechargeable Game Boy, which was a real game-changer (pun intended!) and allowed me to enjoy my favorite Barbie games and dive into the world of Sonic the Hedgehog and Pokémon. I still remember the nights spent trying to solve the mysteries of the Unown cave, feeling a mix of wonder and frustration.

As I grew older, my focus shifted to studies and work, and gaming took a backseat. But rediscovering games through a PlayStation borrowed from a friend reignited my passion. Playing God of War was an eye-opener, and while I still dream of owning my own PlayStation, that dream has only fueled my determination to explore even more games.

The rise of affordable smartphones was a game-changer for me. I eagerly bought one and dove back into gaming, trying out every game I could find. The sheer number of options was both exhilarating and overwhelming, but it only reinforced my desire to dig deeper into the gaming world.
