Before diving into upgrades and getting more cats, it’s essential to understand what cats contribute to your town:
- Resource Generation: Cats often help produce essential resources such as coins, materials, and other currencies. They might work at various production stations, such as bakeries or farms.
- Task Efficiency: Each cat can be assigned to specific tasks or jobs. Their level and abilities influence how quickly and efficiently these tasks are completed.
- Decorative Charm: Beyond functionality, cats add charm and personality to your town. Their adorable antics and playful prances add a delightful touch that enhances Fluffy Town’s overall aesthetic. From their endearing little runs to their irresistibly cute play sessions, these charming furballs turn every moment into a joyous spectacle you’ll want to watch all day long.
- Unlocking Features: Unlocking new features, areas, and upgrades in Fluffy Town often depends on expanding your collection of cats. To access additional facilities and exciting features, you’ll need to reach specific cat counts. The more cats you have, the greater variety you’ll have for placing in each facility, allowing you to customize and enhance your town even further!
Mastering Cat Facility Management
Matching adorable cats to their respective facilities in Fluffy Town is key to optimizing your resource generation and overall town efficiency. Here’s how to effectively match cats to facilities:
1. To effectively manage the resources and facilities in your town, start by familiarizing yourself with each facility. Don’t rely solely on images—click on each facility to confirm its actual name and purpose. For instance, if you see an image of carrots, don’t assume it’s a carrot farm; check to ensure it’s correctly named “Carrot Farm.” Once you’ve verified the facility’s name, locate the appropriate specialist who focuses on that type of facility. In this case, find the cat with expertise in managing the Carrot Farm. By carefully confirming these details, you’ll ensure that you’re making informed decisions and placing the right experts for each facility.
2. Next, review all your cats and identify their specializations. Each cat may have unique abilities or areas of expertise. Once you know the name of the facility or production you’re working with, match it to a cat whose specialization aligns with that facility. For instance, if you’re working with a Carrot Farm, look for a cat whose expertise specifically covers Carrot Farm production. In this example, the Minuet cat is the ideal choice, as it specializes in Carrot Farm operations. By aligning your cats’ specializations with the corresponding facilities, you’ll maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
Tip: If you have multiple cats specializing in the same production facility, choose the one that best suits your current needs. Let’s pretend these two cats both specialize in Juice Bar production: one cat boosts production output (Production Bonus), while the other enhances experience gains (Production EXP bonus). In this case, consider which benefit will serve you better. If I were to decide, since I am focused on climbing the levels quickly, the cat that increases experience bonuses might be the better choice. Although the production boost cat can speed up the process, gaining experience faster will help me level up more effectively. You can always compensate for production speed with clothes and upgrades anyway. So, choose the cat that aligns with your immediate goals, and let the purr-fect choice lead you to success!
Time to Pick the Perfect Cat for the Task!
To assign a cat to your facility, click the cat profile to choose the right cat.
Sometimes, you might place cats in a facility temporarily, even if their stats don’t perfectly match while waiting for the right cat to appear. When the ideal cat shows up and you need to make a change, you’ll need to view all your cats, including those already assigned to other facilities. To do this, simply uncheck the “Exclude Placed Cats” option to see and reassign any cat you need.
After that, you’ll be able to view all of your cats, including those already assigned to other facilities. Choose the cat you want to assign to the current facility and make the switch.
To finalize the switch and assign your new cat, simply click on the chosen cat and then click “OK.”
Upgrading Your Lovely Cats
Upgrading your cats in Fluffy Town is a breeze when you’ve got the right ingredients! All you need are two resources: Cat bells and Coins. With these, you’re ready to level up your feline friends in no time.
What you need to initiate the upgrade
1. Collecting Bells
There are several ways to collect bells in Fluffy Town, which are crucial for upgrading your cats. You can earn 1 Cat Bell as a reward whenever you draw a cat you already have in your collection at the observatory. Additionally, drawing new cats can yield rewards ranging from 5 to 20 Cat Bells, depending on the draw. These bells are essential for leveling up and enhancing your cats’ stats.
2. Saving up money
Upgrading your cats in Fluffy Town takes a bit of savvy, especially since you can only get Grade C cats from the observatory. You’ll need to level these cats up to 5-star C and then 5-star B before you can unlock a top-tier, max-level 5-star Grade A cat. Earning the necessary coins is key, and with some focused effort, you can reach that Grade A status in just a week of dedicated play. Be smart with your money: decide if upgrading your cat now is more important than unlocking new facilities, expanding storage, or boosting happiness points.
The Three Cat Tiers
Grade A – Reaching this tier unlocks all of your cat’s attributes and innate stats, giving them a significant boost! Check out the image below to see how both the carrot farm production bonus and time reduction features come into play once your cat hits max level. With these upgrades, your cat will excel in its tasks, performing at the highest level and making the most of its abilities!
Grade B – This tier may unlock only 2 stats, but that’s not necessarily a drawback. I was once in the same boat, struggling with coins and managing to upgrade all my cats only to Grade B. Even at Grade B, they performed their tasks efficiently and swiftly. If you’re also limited to Grade B for now, don’t stress. Focus on the priorities: expand your storage, unlock all the facilities, and then return to upgrade your cats to Grade A for that extra boost. Prioritize what matters most, and your cats will shine even brighter once you’re ready for those final upgrades.
Grade C – This grade is the starting point for any cat you acquire from the observatory. At Grade C, they offer minimal benefits, providing just a 1% boost to either production bonus or time. Unless you successfully upgrade them to the next tier, their attributes will remain grayed out and will display a lock icon. To fully unlock their potential and access all their features, you’ll need to level them up to Grade B. So, while Grade C is where every cat begins, advancing to Grade B is essential to make those attributes accessible and maximize your cat’s abilities.
Time to Upgrade! 🎉
Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to do it:
1. Select the cat you want to upgrade.
2. If you’re aiming for Grade B, keep hitting the Upgrade button until your cat reaches 5-star Grade C.
3. Once your cat is maxed out at 5 stars, click the “X” to close the upgrade window and proceed to evolve your cat to Grade B.
4. Now you’re all set to upgrade your cat to Grade B, which will unlock the Production bonus for its specialization—in this case, the Bee Farm. Just select “Evolve” to complete the process and boost your cat’s abilities!
In the Evolve window, you can see the attributes that will be unlocked with the successful evolution, as well as the amount of coins and Cat Bells required to make it happen.
5. Yay! The evolution is complete—congratulations on your new Grade B cat! With the successful evolution, your cat’s specialization is now unlocked. Your next step is to max out your cat to 5 stars to fully enhance its abilities and make the most of its new grade.

Another way to expand your cat collection in Fluffy Town is by using Cat Ticket Fragments. With these tickets, you can draw 5 cats at a time for every 20 Cat Ticket Fragments, allowing you to acquire multiple cats in one go.

Once you complete the theme, a “Completed” note will appear over the reward, letting you know that you have claimed the reward.
